The difference between the normal tutus and the infant ones lies in the length, size and weight. I made the infant ones with only the softest tulle, I do not use the stiffer tulle for infants. Hence, infant ones are lighter, shorter and more comfortable, making it possible for them to lie down with the tutu on.

Infant tutus only come in light pink (as pictured) and glitter white.

CUSTOM BOUTIQUE TUTUS

Thanks for your time in looking at my hand-made boutique tutus.

I am really very excited about this at the moment. Started by making a few for my beautiful little girl and got so carried away.

My husband was perplexed by this pile of fluff. He asked, “What is this?!?!”

Good question.

Tutus are not just meant for ballet lessons. They are great for special occasions such as birthday parties, weddings, pageants, make believe / pretend play, twirling around and photo shoots, etc.

For me, I just get a kick out of seeing my 12-month old baby walking around looking like a princess.

My tutus are all painstakingly hand made. They are machine sewn layer by layer, there are no knots whatsoever. Hence, no worries that it will come apart. I am sure that they are durable and will last quite some time.

My tutus are not sized by age, which will just be a very rough guide. I will advice on sizing based on waist (and sometimes height) measurements. Hence please give me your darling's waist measurements if you are interested in my tutus.

Generally, my tutus are made from a variety of tulle. I almost never made a tutu with only 1 type of tulle. I balance stiff and soft ones for the best amount of fluff. I use only great quality tulle imported from England.

The basic tutu will have 4 layers of tulle, a satin ribbon waist band and a satin bow at the back. They come in 2 lengths, approx 9 inches and 12 inches long. The shorter ones look fluffier and look great in photos. Suitable for all ages. The longer ones are only for older girls and they feel great when twirling.

When you receive your tutu, there will most likely be some flattening in the transit process. Please note that you will need to re-fluff them or even do some light ironing when you receive your tutu.

The tutus are made of tulle (which is a type of nylon). While some tulle is stiff and sturdy, others are very delicate. I use a combination of both in my tutus. Hence my tutus cannot be machine washed. However, some light hand washing with warm soapy water will be just fine.

Pricing

A basic 4 layer tutu will cost from S$38.00 onwards.

Any other embellishments will be add-ons at an additional cost. A single yo-yo flower on the satin bow will be S$2. Other forms of embellishments start at S$5.

Infant and doll's tutus are possible. They are cheaper too. S$20-S$25

Special character designs cost more as they are more difficult to make.

Due to time constrains and limited raw materials, I might not always be able to accommodate all requests. However, I will do my best to work something out for the both of us. Please be understanding. ;o)

On average, please give at least 1-2 week’s notice for each tutu.

Please make full payment within 3 days after confirmation of order. Only local bank transfer for Singaporean buyers please. POSB Savings account 037-34740-0. Please email me the bank transfer reference number.

Overseas buyers, Paypal only. Will have to pack and weigh the item to confirm shipping charges.

Postage and handling:
Normal post with tutu flattened and wrapped in paper: $2.50
Normal post with singpost box: $3.50+$2.50 = $6
Registered mail: additional $2.50

Pick ups at my convenience can be arranged. Will be in Telok Blangah area.. I would highly recommend pick ups.
